"Heart's Cafe" is a cafe and bakery owned by Mikale Reed. To most citizens of Starsand City, it seems like a normal cafe. Its floral theming is kept fresh and colourful by the spirits and it tends to be lively be spirit company. The cafe's strong aesthetic makes it trendy enough, while its menu is known for being interesting in flavor and dessert presentation.

Unknown to the public, this cafe is partially owned by the Kami of Love herself. Mikale is one of her lovers and operates the cafe partially out of sincere passion, but also as a place for traveling spirits and kami to meet without the fanfare of the shrine. Some of the guests here are secretly non-human and visit to deliver information to the kami through Mikale. There are even special Starling-based foods that Mikale can give to these spirit and kami visitors.
With Fallen Stars arriving more frequently, Mikale also uses the cafe to supply them with free food, information, and a place to stay.

The cafe also has a bed & breakfast arrangement on its upper floors, where Mikale also lives. Fallen Stars are welcome to stay in the rooms for both short and long term stays. For short term stays, the housing spirit Kuroki prefers to decorate the space with a cottagecore aesthetic. But for long term stays, Kuroki will customize the room to suit the resident's taste.

Mikale also hires Fallen Stars for part-time and full-time work. He's happy to teach them how to bake and to give them a way to earn Starling through baking, waiting tables, or working the register.
